The GAPSA Social Committee is kicking off Black History Month with two nights celebrating West African culture and the cultural significance of Jollof Rice. The events will take place on February 1, 2019, and February 2, 2019, and will include both a party and a West African showcase.

On February 1, 2019, join us for a night of Afro Beats at "The Jollof Experience Party" at the Pyramid Club (1735 Market Street, Philadelphia, PA 19103) from 9:00 PM to 1:30 AM. The dress code for this event to cocktail attire and cultural clothing is also highly encouraged.

On February 2nd, join us for the West African Jollof Experience hosted at the W.E.B. Duboise College (3900 Walnut St, Philadelphia, PA 19104) House on Penn's campus from 4:00 pm to 7:00 am. Registration is required to attend this event.
